- Do not expect miracles from pots and tubes. They are there to make you look more attractive, not to transform you completely.
- How clean is clean enough? No skin can ever be 100 per cent clean, for it discharges sebum and sweat constantly. But yes, the superficial debris must be cleared away regularly, or pores will clog.
- A few inches of fresh ginger will warm the body and soothe joints. Slice, simmer in boiling water for a good half hour. Strain and add to warm bath water.
- For an aroma therapeutic bath, keep tub water tepid. Hot water will cause those volatile oils to evaporate far too quickly.
- Do exercise in a warm bathtub. Experts say there is definite additional benefit from exercise done under warm water.
- Dry armpits thoroughly before applying deodorant as wet skin gives rise to bacteria.
- Mix two tablespoons of shampoo, one of oil (olive, for instance) and a few drops of your favorite perfume in a bottle. Shake vigorously and pour into your bath water. The shampoo will break the oil into millions of fine oil globules that cling to your zillions of open pores as you leave your bath. This is excellent for dry skin.
- Oil your body before you go for your bath, as then scrubbing with soap will take away more dead skin than normally.
- Scrub along with loofahs- they are dried seed pods of tropical gourds. They have an abrasive texture which scrubs very well.

FACIAL CARE
- Pollution, sun rays and stress all combine to ruin your skin and lead to pre mature and early wrinkling. Facials are deep skin treatments with real benefits to counteract the ravages of pollution and the damaging ultraviolet rays of the sun. Besides, facials are useful as mild treatments to take care of skin and, of course, the dreaded wrinkles.
- Facials can deep cleanse, re hydrate and rejuvenate the skin. With the appropriate techniques and products, these face treatments can have a lasting revitalizing effect.
- The four important steps of a facial are:

- What most people do not realize is that with regular treatments, a lot of skin problems can be prevented and reduced. We sail through our 20's thinking sagging skin will never happen to us. Confidence begins to falter in the 30's and by the time we have reached the 40's and 50's it may be too late.
- Each facial will vary depending on your skin type, the kind of treatment you have chosen and the products used. What facials help to do is remove the dead , dull outer layer of cells that make-up the skin's surface or epidermis along with pollutants. Thus, the newer and younger cells underneath are revealed, giving the skin a youthful glow. The actual massage helps blood circulation, which in turn aids lymphatic drainage, the system, which removes our waste and toxins. The massage relaxes the face, which has over 120 muscles and to delay wrinkles it is very important to massage them consistently.

Daily Skin Care Routine
- Next, you should tone the skin on the face. Toning the skin helps remove any residual cleanser or make-up that may have been left behind. A toner also helps restore the natural pH level of the skin, leaves your skin clean, clear and ready to be hydrated.
- Next, apply a moisturizer or day cream.
- This should be specialized to your skin type. A moisturizer leaves the skin feeling softer and smoother. It also helps smooth away fine lines and dryness. A sunscreen can be applied on top of the moisturizer.
- Next, apply your make-up (if you choose to wear make-up). Your foundation should match your skin tone. Never use a darker foundation than your skin tone; it should look natural.
Evening Facial Care:
- The evening starts like the morning. First, you should clean your face with luke-warm water and a creamy cleanser or purifying gel wash. These skin cleansers will remove your make-up at the same time you wash your face.
- A toner should then be applied. Any trace of make-up remaining will be removed (the easiest way of applying a toner is to put it on a cotton pad).
- Now, while your face is still wet, you should exfoliate. Exfoliating is the process of removing dead skin cells, which cause the face to look dull. The build up of dead cells can also contribute to blockage of the pores causing acne. Also this build up of dead cells will not let the products you are using penetrate the skin and work to their full capacity. Exfoliating will brighten the skin and give it a more healthy glow. Massage gently and rinse well. This can be done every night or 1-2 times a week all depending on the type of exfoliant.
- Finally, apply a moisturizer to your face, which is specified for your skin type. A firming eye cream should also be used around the eye area.
- Never go to bed with your make-up on. Make-up that is left on overnight clogs the pores and prevents the skin cells from shedding, which may cause blemishes and/or blackheads. The skin needs to breathe over night.
- Waterproof make-up is most easily removed with a gel cleanser.
- The most important thing that you can do for your facial skin is to avoid sunlight or use liberal amounts of sunscreen. Sunlight causes the skin to age and causes skin cancer which is the most common malignancy in humans. The most common location for these tumors is the face. If you do not believe that the sun ages your skin, then look at the skin under your upper arm and compare it to the skin on your face and the back of the hands.
- If you have acne and the above measures do not help, see your dermatologist. There are many prescription treatments for acne.
- Give the gift of beauty with a "Skincare .

Designerplanet: Black Hair Care Tips 2025
Massaging your scalp on a regular basis will stimulate oil production, which will help reduce the dryness of your hair.
Daily shampooing is not recommended, ethnic hair is dryer than other types of hair, shampooing strips away the oils from your hair so try shampooing once every 3 to 7 days instead.
If you engage in daily activities that cause you to sweat, it is recommended that you rinse your hair out with water and only use shampoo on occasion, but if you feel the need to use a mild shampoo, go ahead and do so.
Use a mild moisturizing shampoo with a low PH level when washing your hair.
Don't use a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, use a separate shampoo and conditioner, 2 in 1's aren't suited as well for dry hair.
When washing your hair rub only in one direction to avoid tangling.
Shower with warm water, hot water can dry and/or irritate the scalp.
Oil your scalp after shampooing, with your hair still moist, massage the oil into your scalp and brush out to the ends of your hair.
Use a conditioner when you shower, it'll moisturize your hair, give it extra protection, add shine, reduce static, and makes it easier to untangle.
