Here we are in summer, and your child is getting ready to break out his or her summer clothes. It may be that all the summer clothes are outgrown, or just not fitting with your child's taste and preferences. All the latest summer clothes are filling the shops, and, depending on the age of your child, he or she may have very specific preferences based on what he or she has seen in the windows. If you are not willing or able to spend money designer clothes, it's perfectly acceptable to get ideas from the latest fashions and put together customized outfits with and for your kids.
1. Colors
As with adult fashions, fluorescent, bright, neon colors are in for kids. Somehow, though, the playful, energetic quality of electric colors fits children particularly well. Designers are putting bold, contrasting colors together in a way that's reminiscent of the 1980s. Kids' outfits might consist of a bright yellow shirt, electric green pants, and bright pink or blue shoes.
There are still pastels out there, and some designers are emphasizing them this year, too. Whites with pastel embroidery are in for girls in 2021.
2. Patterns
Look for checkered patterns for boys this year, and floral for girls. It's trendy for girls to wear bright patterns and blank white, one on top and one on the bottom. In keeping with the contrasting color theme, boys might wear a green and black checked shirt with bright blue or red pants.
3. Styles
When it comes to kids' fashions, simplicity is always appropriate. Kids like to move freely and play, so simple sundresses and tights for girls and tees and pants for boys with comfy shoes are never out of fashion. However, there are some trends this year toward particular design details.
Collars are in for boys and girls. Button-down shirts with collars look great over boys' tees, and girls' frocks and shirts are sporting collared necklines. Collared tee-shirts - a variation of the classic "polo shirt" - are in for boys.
Girls' skirts are colorful this year, especially with stripes. Longer lengths are back - not to the ankle, but definitely below the knees. Floral prints and bright solids are also in with girls' skirts in 2019.

Traditionally in North Karnataka, the Ilkal saree gets its name from Ilkal, a town in Bagalkot, which was a center of weaving until the 8th century AD. What distinguishes the Ilkal saree from others is that the body and the pallu are woven separately. The body warp is combined with a pallu warp in a series of loops in a technique called Topi Teni, which is performed only in Ilkal.
Ilkal sarees are produced in a weaving machine using cotton, silk or a combination of silk and silk or artificial silk thread.
These sarees are famous for pallu, usually red with a picture of a white temple tower. The tops of the pallu consist of hanige (tohoka), koti kammli (fort ramparts), toputenne (jowar) and rampa (mountain).
The middle part sometimes has a kyadgi (line) shape. Borders are usually red or maroon. The traditional border forms are chikki, gomi, paraspet and gaddidadi. Konrad sarees have the distinguishable designs that are typical example of South India.
The Konrad saree is a mubbhagamï interwoven saree that has two borders and fields of equal width. One of the things to be noticed is that the border of such sarees is in a flawless style having two pettu. However, sometimes it happens that the entire length of a narrow field is covered with good quality accessories zari patterning woven in a series of weft-wise rows. Designs include motifs such as elephants, peacocks, double-headed eagles and floral vines. Although Konrad saree showcases pure silk creations but its unique design makes it stand out from other designer sarees.
The borders of these sarees are decorated with different designs. The border of these sarees is around 10 to 40 cm wide, woven in plain colors. The body of the Konrad saree has woven patterns, usually checks or stripes. This is known as "Kampi" or "Pettu" (stripe). The bottom of the saree has a series of wide open zari patterns or additional net patterns. The classic design at the end of the Konrad saree is seen in the wide band which is usually in zari, with triangular dots woven in the interlocking technique. The designs of these sarees also vary as the designs vary from straight borders or with a variety of triangular motifs called "Mokku" (flower crowns) ranging from simple triangles (pogudi) to up to the serrated ridge (pillaiyar mokku). Such a serrated border is also known as "Karavai" (sawtooth). Many Konrad sarees are named according to the color of their borders such as "Arakku" saree with colored (red) border, and "Pudapayalam Karavai" yellow border.
