The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 comes with Ultra Wide Band (UWB) support and features a new Lost Mode that allows users to enter their personal information via text message. Once someone finds an item with a GalaxyTag2 attached, they can use their smartphone to scan the tag and view the owner's messages and contact information. Lost Mode works on all mobile devices with NFC readers and web browsers.
As for the battery, the Galaxy SmartTag2 offers 700 days of battery life in power saving mode, while it lasts for 500 days in normal mode. This is double the battery life offered on previous Galaxy SmartTag models. It has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.Galaxy SmartTag2 also supports pet walking mode, which makes it easy for users to walk with their furry friends.
The SmartThings Find integration is made even better with the new tracker. Galaxy SmartTags now installs a new shortcut app on users' phones to help them quickly track down the device if it's lost. In addition, the application now features full-screen maps and an intuitive interface, which makes the user experience easier.
Also, when switching Galaxy phones, SmartTag2 now automatically resets the Galaxy phone using your Samsung account. Samsung has improved the battery life of the tracker. The company says it can last up to 700 days in the new low power mode and around 500 days in the normal mode.

Price and availability Samsung has not announced the price of the Galaxy SmartTag2 at this time. However, it will be on sale from October 11.
While we know the price is $29.99 globally, there is no official word on whether the SmartTag2 will be coming to India or not. We will update the story when it launches in India.
