Gadgets To Make New Parents' Lives Easier. Designerplanet
Parenting can be hard. But luckily for anyone new to it, we now live in an age full of baby gear designed to make the first years of your little one's life go a little smoother. Think devices that send an alert when something isn't quite right and simple - yet ingenious - products that solve small problems in a pinch. More and more real parents are entering the technology space and coming up with new and useful products for everyday life that really help parents make the most of their days and nights with gadgets that meet the needs of parents. There are now new gadgets for feeding your baby, gadgets for getting them to sleep, and even gadgets designed for making homemade baby food. This is truly the best era for parenting gear.
BABY TECH GADGETS FOR EVERY MOTHER
These baby gadgets to make life easier vary in price and of course in function. Whether you're a parent scrolling through this list in the middle of the night while feeding a fussy baby, or someone looking for a baby shower gift, there's something for you on this list. Baby sound machine with night light and time to get up. The Hatch night light is officially one of my favorite baby gadgets to make life easier. It's challenging to even describe what exactly it is, but let's start by saying it's a sound machine. Plus, it has a built-in night light for those middle of the night feeds and a wake-up clock. It's all controlled and programmed via your smartphone—you can even use your phone to choose a fun night light color that's totally entertaining for your little one. Baby pacifier thermometer. This is so brilliant...a pacifier that has a thermometer built into it. This is definitely a much easier way to read a baby's temperature than any of the other methods. This handy tool is definitely one of those baby gadgets to make life easier that you'll reach for again and again. Portable thermometer. Baby doesn't want to take a pacifier? No problem. Here is another very easy way to check a baby's temperature without disturbing them. This FDA-approved device is bluetooth-enabled and will send alerts directly to your phone, helping you get a better night's rest when your little one isn't feeling well. Bath spout cover. This smart gadget has two advantages. First, it covers the bathtub spout which will help avoid head bumps and tears. Second, the spout cover has a built-in thermometer so you know the bath is always the perfect temperature for your child.
Travel Bottle Warmer.
If you don't have one of these yet, get one. This portable bottle warmer is one of the best purchases I've made. If your child is like mine and will only drink warm milk, this will be a godsend for long car rides, or when the baby is extra hungry on the go.
Baby scale.
If you're a parent-to-be, you might scoff at the idea of buying a baby scale. However, there may come a time when you wonder if your baby is gaining weight or getting enough breast milk. This scale lets you track your baby's weight with ease, taking away the ambiguity of weighing it in your arms.
Cool mist humidifier.
Moisturizers are a must for newborns, but you'll be using them throughout their childhood. A baby's nose and throat may be irritated from dry air, or when they have a cold, and the humidifier will help soothe them.
Portable sound machine. This is one of the baby gadgets to make life easier that I love so much that I own two of them! On the go, everything is a necessity these days. If you're on the road and the baby is tired, use this portable sound machine to help them nap on the go.
Portable swing.
Baby swings are great for giving you a moment when something needs to be done. They entertain and rock your baby, leaving you free for a few minutes. This swing is lightweight enough to be portable, which I really like.
Formula travel pack.
Here is an example of a simple design that is a game changer. This 4-compartment case is great for parents on the go. Formula can be scooped up in the sections or you can use it for snacks.
Vibrating mattress pad.
Thanks to the almost constant rocking and bouncing that a baby does in the womb, a mattress vibrating pad may be just the thing to calm baby down enough for a nap. Some parents swear by it and others have found that it doesn't work for their child. It certainly can't hurt to try and check it out! 7 Baby gear for moms It's hard to tell exactly what baby gear to make life easier moms will need or dads will reach for.
