Here are some tips to help prevent breakouts and clear them up as fast as possible:


Wash your face twice a day (no more) with warm water and a mild soap made for people with acne. Gently massage your face with circular motions. Don't scrub. Overwashing and scrubbing can cause skin to become irritated. After cleansing, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) recommends applying an over-the-counter (no prescription needed) lotion containing benzoyl peroxide. This will decrease oil and bacteria. 

Don't pop pimples. It's tempting, but here's why you shouldn't: Popping pimples can push infected material further into the skin, leading to more swelling and redness, and even scarring. If you notice a pimple coming before a big event, like the prom, a dermatologist can often treat it for you with less risk of scarring or infection. 

Avoid touching your face with your fingers or leaning your face on objects that collect sebum and skin residue like your phone. Touching your face can spread the bacteria that cause pores to become inflamed and irritated. To keep bacteria at bay, wash your hands before applying anything to your face, such as treatment creams or makeup.  
If you wear glasses or sunglasses, make sure you clean them frequently to keep oil from clogging the pores around your eyes and nose.

 Avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring.

Avoid the sun. You might be having fun in the sun, but the same can't be said for your skin. The sun's rays can accelerate acne and increase inflammation. Some acne treatment products even heighten the skin's sensitivity to sunlight. If you're outside, you should always wear sunscreen. By choosing sunscreen that is non comedogenic, you can also reduce pore clogging and minimize acne.

Make your sunscreen work harder for you. Antioxidants like vitamin C offer an extra layer of protection again environmental damage and toxins, diverting them before they can damage your cells. "That's why applying them as part of your morning routine boosts the efficacy of your sunscreen," explains Amiry. "It's important to know that sunscreens are chemicals that you are applying to your skin and they absorb into your body. So, use a lighter sunscreen daily such as SPF 15 along with vitamin C and a higher sunscreen (about 30) every two hours if you are outdoors for a long period of time."
If you get acne on your body, try not to wear tight clothes. They don't allow skin to breathe and may cause irritation. Scarves, headbands, and caps can collect dirt and oil, too.Remove your makeup before you go to sleep. When buying makeup, make sure you choose brands that say "noncomedogenic" or "nonacnegenic" on the label. Throw away old makeup that smells or looks different from when you first bought it.Keep hair clean and out of your face to prevent additional dirt and oil from clogging your pores.Protect your skin from the sun. It may seem like a tan masks acne, but it's only temporary. A tan may worsen your acne, not improve it. Tanning also causes damage to skin that will eventually lead to wrinkles and increase your risk of skin cancer.

When in doubt, check with a dermatologist to see if you need more treatment to prevent or stop acne. A dermatologist can help you find the treatment method that's best for you and can also give you lots of useful tips for dealing with acne and caring for your skin type. How to remove pimples at home



Pimples are small pustules or papules, skin lesions, inflammations of the skin, also known as zits or spots. They are a form or type of acne (a skin condition characterized by comedones - blackheads and whiteheads, nodules, cysts, scaly red skin etc.)

Many people have pimples and they constantly irritate them. But there are some simple home remedies you can use to remove them overnight or a day or two. These tips will help you have beautiful skin again.

 1. The first thing you that you should do before you sleep at night is to wash your face.
Once you are done washing it, slowly pat it dry. Be sure not to scratch your face too hard because the skin on your face is very sensitive. If your face is now completely dry, get some plain white toothpaste and place a small amount on your pimples and let it stay overnight.

 When you wake up the next day that is the time for you to wash it off.

 2. Another effective method of removing the pimples on your face is by applying fresh lemon juice to them.
 It is highly suggested that you do this before you tuck yourself to bed each night. This is to give the treatment some time to dry those pimples.

3.Have you ever heard of the good effects of lavender oil? This is one of the pimple remedies that you shouldn’t miss out.

4.Clear the pimple by dabbing aloe vera juice on it twice a day. You can also cleanse the skin with the mixture of baking soda and warm water.


6.Get an egg and remove the egg yolk. Apply the egg white to infected areas and leave it there until morning comes.

Or go for a dark colour, transparent tight full sleeves with some work at the border. Dark colours can make you look much thinner than you imagine.

Make sure your clothes fit properly, not too large nor too tight.

If your dress is shaped well you will automatically get the shape.

Don't add too much glitter, with your make up or dress. If you want, go for copper colours rather than silver and gold.

Fluorescent colours, too much glitters and too much make up will make you look funny rather than pretty.

Wear accessories that will grab attention. A stunning earring can make you look wonderful.

If you are blessed with a beautiful neck, wear a big earring and keep the neck free. Add some copper glitter make up there to get the catch. Get a wide necked party dress.

Don't go for curly hair styles,go for wavy cuts that fit around your face or put your hair up as a pony tail.

Never cover your ears with your hair.

How to moisturise dry lips?

Easy ways to keep your lips looking fresh and moisturized

Exfoliate your lips.
Dip a plain toothbrush in petroleum jelly or Vaseline, then use it brush all the dead skin off your lips. Alternatively, mix a tablespoon of honey with enough sugar until you get a body-scrub-like texture, the scrub it across your lips with a toothbrush. Exfoliating will leave them smoother and make them look healthier.
Try coconut scrub on your lips for 5 minutes. This will reduce the amount of dead skin cells and blockage.
Avoid licking your lips.
Breathe through your nose.

It's a special time when your baby starts eating solid foods.


Choose a nice sweet apple (those listed in the applesauce recipe above are ideal).
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, 180 deg C.
Wash the apple and then remove the core (a melon baller is useful for this).
Sprinkle a little nutmeg or cinnamon over the apple, then fill the apple with raisins. You may like to add a drop of maple syrup, as the raisins may be quite tart.
Wrap the apple in aluminium foil and seal tightly.
Bake the apple for around 45 mins, until it feels nice and tender.
Remove from the oven and cool slightly, then remove the skin.

Mash or puree thoroughly and serve!!!

1 banana
pinch of cinnamon powder
1 tsp maple syrup
1/2 oz (1 tbsp) unsalted butter

Preheat the oven to 350 deg F, 180 deg C.
Slice the banana in half lengthways, then place on a piece of foil.
Pour over the syrup and cinnamon and top with the butter.
Wrap the banana with the foil, seal, then bake for 10-15 minutes.

    Instead of soap you can sometimes use a mixture of gram flour (besan) and milk to bathe the baby.
    To massage the baby you could use

        A mixture of gram flour (basen) and cream with a pinch of turmeric. Apply the mixture on the baby's body and gently rub it off.
        Take a small ball of wheat dough. Apply some massage oil on it. Massage the baby with this ball by rubbing it over the baby's body. The strokes should be against the hair growth. This is an excellent remedy for removing body hair from a newborn.

    A rich moisturizer can be made by melting 2 tbsp unsalted butter, 1 tbsp lanolin, 2 tsp glycerine and 3 tbsp olive or almond oil, over a double boiler. Beat well.
    Boil a handful of neem leaves and basil leaves and wash your hair regularly with it to get rid of lice.
    To get rid of Band-aid or ugly gray plaster marks apply some lukewarm coconut oil to the area and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash off with soap water.
    To remove paint or fast colour from your skin, apply curd on the effected part. After few minutes rub and wash it off.
