Ahoi Ashtami is a Hindu festival celebrated mainly by mothers for the well-being of their children.It is observed on the Ashtami titi of Krishna Paksha during the month of Kartik in the Hindu calendar and coincides with the month of Ashwin for Amanta followers. Ahoi Ashtami falls between mid-October and November in the Gregorian calendar and occurs eight days before Diwali and four days after Karwa Chauth.Ahoi Ashtami, a deeply revered Hindu festival, will be celebrated on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Traditionally, this is a day when mothers fast from dawn to dusk for the well-being of their children.
